Who We Are
Our forefather Late Harihar Rai was a famous and well-known personality for his contributions in helping and creating the better place to live and grow in the Society, He had a vision to “Help the PEOPLE who need the help”.
Our grandfather Late Vindhyachal Rai was also a renowned social reformer of his time and carried a philanthropic vision for helping all sections of the society irrespective of caste, creed, and economical standing in our region.
Our father Late Janardan Singh, (01 Jan 1949 – 08 Feb 2019) was a simple, honest, industrious and a true leader who had the vision to provide the best education to a child and the child will make the changes you desire. He had been always reminding us to do something for the society in which we are born and brought up.
His appetite for developing society and the growing legacy of our grandfather and forefather instituted him as a role model that always inspires us to work for the social and charitable cause in the field of Education.
It was the most earnest desire of our family that we fulfill the dream of our beloved father Late Janardan Singh into reality. Our father, himself was a good human with a modern approach- a great visionary to establish a network of educational institutions in the rural areas for transforming the much deprived rural area surrounding the family’s ancestral village Rasulpur, (District Siwan), in Bihar, 100 Km North West side of Patna.
The JS Foundation established in the memory of his late father Janardhan Singh by Prof.(Dr.) Rajeshwar Singh.
The JS Foundation undertakes several programmes for improvising the quality of life of society. The Foundation aims to actively contribute towards Quality Education, Research and Development (R&D), Skill Development Programmes (SDP), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Health Mission, and Social Welfare. The foundation also aims to provide affordable tertiary health care facilities and its awareness, conducting special eye care and general health check-up camps, organizing Yoga camps, co-operating with Govt. supported sanitation projects, spreading environmental awareness by facilitating major tree plantation drives, promoting awareness of renewable energy, spreading awareness about water conservation and rainwater harvesting.
As Educationists and responsible citizens of India, the founders and promoters of the JS Foundation Trust, right from the beginning firmly believe that overall growth of the region is the outcome of “Quality Education”
